The Ghana Police Service has made an official announcement on their Facebook page regarding a tragic incident that occurred on March 27, 2024.
According to the announcement, three police officers lost their lives in a fatal accident at Kyekyewere along the Accra – Kumasi Highway while en route to perform their operational duties.
As per Ghanaian tradition and the regulations of the Ghana Police Service, complete information will be shared once the families of the deceased officers have been formally notified.
The identities of the three officers, unfortunately, have not been revealed by the police.
With a heavy heart, the Ghana Police Service mourns three of our gallant officers who lost their lives in a fatal accident today at Kyekyewere along the Accra – Kumasi Highway while on their way for Police operational duties.
In line with Ghanaian tradition and the Ghana Police Service Regulations, full details will be communicated after the bereaved families are formally informed.
