Apostle Michael Ntumy: Former Pentecost Church Chairman Dead

The Church of Pentecost (COP) has confirmed the sad demise of Apostle Dr. Michael Kwabena Ntumy, their former Chairman, at the age of 65. The church promptly issued a message to announce his death, as shared below.

Home Call

I have been directed to inform you of the Home Call of our father and former Chairman, Apostle Dr. Michael Ntumy. This sad event occurred early hours of today 27th December. 2023.

Kindly bear the widow and the bereaved family up in prayer.”

Apostle Michael Ntumy had a diverse journey before his significant contributions to The Church of Pentecost. Initially, he worked as a teacher in Yendi during the 1980s.

Later on, he transitioned into the roles of Deacon and Elder. At the age of 24, he entered into the sacred bond of marriage with his beloved wife, Martha.

At the age of 26, Apostle Michael Ntumy dedicated himself to full-time ministry, aligning his path with The Church of Pentecost.

His commitment and devotion to his faith were recognized when he was called to the esteemed position of an Apostle at the age of 33. Six years later, he was elected as the fourth Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, a position he held for two terms spanning a decade.
