Ashmusy Reveals How She Rejected N20 Million From A Politician Ahead of Presidential Election

Amarachi Amusi alias Ashmusy has explained why she turned down money from a lawmaker intended for promotional work ahead of the elections slated for this Saturday.

The beautiful skit maker and influencer claimed that despite being tempted, she turned down offers of 10 to 20 million naira to post a social media endorsement of a specific candidate.

The comedienne claimed she opted out of the mouthwatering deal because she doesn’t want to sell her soul and ruin the country for her children, grandchildren, and other relatives.

She also said that she is in support of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and she hopes that if he wins, he will deliver on his promises.

Ashmusy informed her fans online by stating; “Confession- I got offers of 10m to 20m for a (one) political post… (for the other candidate that we don’t want) It was tempting I won’t lie..

But realizing I’m gonna be selling my soul to the devil.. realizing My children, grandchildren, family, Loved ones will be in the country suffering!! Because I made the ST*pid decision to post/vote for the wrong person… I said a BIG NO! hopefully PETER OBI wins on Saturday.. and not just wins, but wins And does his job 100 percent.

God take full control this time abeg!!Because in this country, even the rich is suffering, how can I work so much to make money in naira, just for the naira to be dropping like pure water everyday, if you change it to pounds or dollars, you will just cry, please we are all tired, forget God abeg!”
