Bank Of Ghana Rate For The Cedi Today, April 14TH, Is Gh10.94 To $1, While The Forex Bureau Rate Is Gh12.40

According to the Bank of Ghana’s interbank foreign exchange rates as of today, April 14, 2023, one may purchase a dollar in Ghana for a rate of 10.9313 cedis and sell it for 10.9423 cedis. At a forex bureau, the dollar can be purchased for 11.40 and sold for 12.40 in Accra.

After missing a self-imposed deadline to restructure its bilateral debt and receiving a warning from S&P Global Ratings that bondholders face higher than expected losses, Ghana’s eurobonds dropped to their lowest level in nearly three months.

The Cedi is now selling at 13.6981 and a selling price of 13.7129 when compared to the British pound. One can purchase British pounds at the forex bureau for the rate of 13.70 and sell them for 14.70.

The Euro is now trading at a purchasing price of 12.0879 and a selling price of 12.0989 and can be bought at 12.00 and sold for 13.00 at a forex bureau.

Today’s buying and selling rates for the South African Rand are 0.6058 and 0.6062, respectively and can be bought at a rate of 0.30 and sold for 0.90 at a currency exchange bureau.

The buying price of the Nigerian Naira is 42.1257 and the selling price is 42.2390. And can be bought at a forex bureau in Accra at a rate of 13.50 Naira for every 1 Cedi and sold at a rate of 18.50.

The current exchange rate for the CFA is between 54.2163 and 54.2656, with a purchase price of 54.2163. One Cedi can be purchased at 17.00 CFA at a forex bureau, and can be sold at 21.00 CFA.

To be eligible for an IMF programme for $3 billion, Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta hoped to secure a restructuring agreement with bilateral creditors by the end of May. In terms of internal debt, Ghana has only partially accomplished the exchange plan so far.
