On Thursday in the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo showed his killer instinct in front of goal after he scored four goals, including his 500th career league goal, as Al Nassr whitewashed Al Wehda 4-0.
In a lopsided road game at King Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium, Ronaldo scored all four goals inside 30 minutes on either side of halftime, including a penalty in the 51st minute.
Before quickly bringing his total to 503, the 38-year-first old’s goal, which came in the 21st minute, was also the 500th league goal of his illustrious career.
After his contract with Manchester United was mutually ended at the end of December, the former Real Madrid, Juventus, and Sporting CP forward joined Al Nassr.
According to reports, he signed a contract that runs through the summer of 2025 and will pay him $75 million annually.
Per this new development, Ronaldo has now scored five goals in two games consecutively after scoring none in his first two games for his new team.
With this win, Al Nassr regains first place in the league standings after 16 games, tied on 37 points with Al Shabab in second place.
