Davido To Tell His Story In A New Netflix Series

A new documentary titled ‘David’ based on the life of Nigerian music icon Davido will debut on Netflix in December.

The singer revealed it in a recent interview with Esquire Middle East, calling the series ‘very, very big’ and noting that it would be the first time he had spoken about it in public.

According to Davido, the documentary-style television show would follow his life and provide an inside look at his career as a singer.

The Omo Baba Olowo crooner said: “I have a movie coming out in December with Netflix. It’s very, very big. This is the first time I’ve said anything about it, actually. It’s a documentary-a docu-series about my life called ‘David’. I shouldn’t be talking about this.”

Davido, famed for his benevolence, was in the news recently when he gifted an iPhone 14 Pro Max to his cleaner.

It emerged that the domestic worker had complained to the Nigerian superstar that he needed a new phone. To his surprise, Davido ‘answered his prayers’ by getting him a brand new iPhone 14.

In a video that has been going viral online, the cleaner thanked OBO and prayed for God to bless him richly.

He also said that he uses an Android device which obviously means this is the first time he is using an Apple product, a luxury and an expensive one for that matter.

Davido and Chioma wedding

Rare photos and a video of Davido’s traditional wedding to his longtime partner Chioma Avril Rowland were recently leaked online.

This unavoidably lends credibility to prior information posted on reliable websites that the ASSURANCE has been met.

Remember that Davido and Chioma’s marriage was undocumented, therefore claims the two were actually wed were dismissed as just rumours.

The framed photographs of their wedding that were in the house had been photographed and put online, igniting fresh debates.

Following the untimely passing of Ifeanyi Adeleke Jr., their 3-year-old son, it was reported that the wedding ceremony took place in late 2022. Davido put a bead around his neck while wearing white clothing, the same as Chioma.

As he held his wife’s hand and she smiled, the singer could be seen beaming throughout.
