Doja Cat Steals Show At 2023 Met Gala By Showing Up Like Real-Life Cat

Rapper Doja Cat’s appearance at the 2023 Met Gala in the form of an actual cat has broken the internet.

The famous Met Gala was held on May 1, 2023, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan, New York, and the stars came out in their numbers to add their irresistible aura to the show.

Doja Cat, who is renowned for drawing attention at fashion shows, did so once more after appearing with a lot of special effects prosthetics that gave her the appearance of a real cat.

In celebration of the renowned designer who worked at fashion brands including Balmain, Chloé, Fendi, and Chanel, the Met’s Costume Institute exhibition “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” debuted this year. According to rumours, Choupette, the cat owned by Lagerfeld, inspired Doja’s Cat’s outfit.

The internet has been weighing in on Doja’s look. “I’m going to be honest I really like the Doja Cat outfit I really do,” one person posted.

“After the experiences I had at art school, seeing people call Doja Cat weird is so funny because this is literally what creativity looks like,” another tweet reads.

Several rappers are in attendance at the event including Ice Spice, who reportedly received a personal invite from Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Pusha T, Jack Harlow, Lil Nas X, Cardi B, Dr. Dre and others.

Additionally, a video has gone viral of A$AP Rocky using a woman’s face to climb over a barrier outside a hotel prior to the event.

Is Doja Cat in a relationship?

Since her rise to fame, Doja has had only one public relationship, and that was with singer Jawny (formerly Johnny Utah).
