2023 VGMA ‘Unsung Artist of the Year’ Announced By Charter House
Unsung Artist of the Year nominees for the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) has been made public by CharterHouse.
This coveted award honours up-and-coming musicians who have made it through the music business and established themselves there even though they haven’t yet experienced enormous mainstream success. DSL Tsaqa Niashun, Maya Blu, and Aya Ramzyb Boijake are the nominees who will battle it out this year.
The prize was created by Charterhouse with funding from Closeup Complete Fresh Protection. gives young Ghanaian musicians a platform to be heard by recognizing and rewarding them for the time and effort they have put into their music.
The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) is an annual music awards event in Ghana established in 1999 by a local event organizer and planner company known as CharterHouse to originally and primarily celebrate the “outstanding contributions of Ghanaian musicians to the growth and expansion of its associated industry.”
