Government employees who were in charge of Meek Mill’s video shoot at the Jubilee House, according to North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, should be fired.

The popular Ghanaian politician called the circumstance a terrible defilement of the official building. There has been outrage on social media after a video clip filmed by American rapper Meek Mill at the Jubilee House surfaced on social media on Sunday, January 8.

On Thursday, December 29, 2022, Meek Mill performed at the AfroNation concert while in Ghana. Soon after spending some time in the country after the concert and returning to America, he shared a snippet of a music video he shoot at the Jubilee House.

This sparked mixed reactions as some Ghanaians criticized the government for the film shoot. Commenting on this on Facebook, Mr Ablakwa said “All those responsible for this despicable desecration of the Jubilee House by Meek Mill must be fired immediately.
