Former Ghanaian Minister, Dominic Fobih, 80, Marries 27-Year-Old Lady

The video of Ghanaian politician Prof. Dominic Fobih and his new spouse from their traditional wedding is currently going viral online.

In a video that has been circulating online, the newlyweds can be seen dancing wildly to Dada KD’s “Fatia Fata Nkrumah” while others clap and encourage them.

The pair married in an undisclosed location. A white and gold beaded lace corset gown was worn by the politician’s spouse, who was clad in Kente cloth.

While the buoyant lady whose name has not been established rested her hands on his shoulders, Prof. Fobih gripped his wife by the waist with his right hand and grooved to the rhythm of the evergreen song.

A heartfelt appreciation message accompanied their picture: “Thank you for being with us on this special occasion and making it the most memorable day of our lives – Mr and Mrs Dominic Fobih.”

Who is Dominic Fobih?

Dominic Fobih is a Ghanaian politician, professor and educationist/teacher. He was a member of parliament for Assin South in the Central region of Ghana from January 2001 to January 2017 on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.

He served as a cabinet minister for lands, forestry, and mines under the administration of former president John Agyekum Kufour.

Fobih is a New Patriotic Party member from January 2001 to January 2009, he was a member of Parliament for two terms during the administration of former President John Agyekum Kuffour. In the 2000 legislative elections in Ghana, he received 16,963 votes out of a total of 31,843, or 53.3% of the legitimate votes cast.

From 2003 to 2007 under the administration of His Excellency the Former President John Agyekum Kuffour, he also served as Minister of Lands, Forestry, and Mines.

When His Excellence the Ex-President John Atta Mills won the 2008 Ghanaian general elections, he continued to serve as a member of parliament for the Assin South Constituency from January 2009 to January 2012.

In the general election held in Ghana in 2012 on the platform of the New Patriotic Party under the administration of His Excellency John Dramini Mahama, he once more maintained his seats as a member of parliament for the Assin South the former president of Ghana’s Fourth Republic
