Frustrated Nurse Hangs Himself Over Unpaid Allowance

A depressing story making rounds on the internet claims that a disgruntled nurse who was unable to handle the financial strain placed upon him turned to suicide in order to escape the harsh realities of this world.

In the Asante Akim South Municipality of the Ashanti Region’s Asankragua, a man by the name of Paul Dodzi hanged himself in an incomplete building. According to reports, Paul Dodzi gave his country service by working at the Church of God Hospital in Esieninpong, Ejisu Municipality.

Colleagues at the hospital began to question him after they noticed he hadn’t reported for work the entire day. They discovered that he had reportedly hanged himself later on May 11th.

It was revealed that the young man, who was in his early 20s, had recently complained about his service allowances, which he said had not been paid for some months.

An intimate acquaintance claimed that the incident had made the deceased’s financial issues worse and rendered him unable to maintain himself. According to rumours, the government owes rotational nurses money that is up to ten months overdue.
