Ghana Music Awards UK Opens Submissions For The 7th Edition Of The Prestigious Awards
Submissions are now open for the seventh edition of the Ghana Music Awards UK (GMAUK23), and here are the details.
Artists, producers, and other members of the music industry are encouraged to submit their work for consideration in the forthcoming seventh annual Ghana Music Awards UK.
Organisers took to their official Instagram account to make the announcement.
Submissions will be accepted for works that were published between April 1, 2022, and March 31, 2023. Awards will be given out in 43 different categories listed below:

- HIGHLIFE SONG OF THE YEAR

- MALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR
- FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR
- INSTRUMENTALIST OF THE YEAR
- SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR
- BEST RAPPER OF THE YEAR
- BEST COLLABORATION OF THE YEAR
- NEW ARTISTE OF THE YEAR
- MOST POPULAR SONG OF THE YEAR

Artistes are to submit their works here. Deadline for submission is May 30, 2023.
Ghana Music Awards UK 2022 winners
The 6th edition of the awards was held on Saturday, 29th October, 2022 at the Royal Regency, London. Black Sherif was the biggest victor of the evening. He was awarded five trophies, including Artiste of the Year. Akwaboahpicked up three plaques, while Eugy and Headie One each received two.
Reggie Rockstone, the originator of hiplife was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, while TIC and Zoro King were honoured for their contributions to the industry with the Special Recognition awards.
