Gifty Anti Breaks Silence On Divorce Rumours

Ace broadcaster and feminist Gifty Anti has reacted to wild rumours that she and her husband are having troubles in their marriage.

The unsubstantiated report which was first propagated by several Ghanaian blogs mentioned that Gifty has sacked her husband Nana Ansah Kwao from home as the house they lived in belongs to her.

To this end, one of the sensational headlines got the attention of a Facebook user who is presumably close to Gifty Anti.

A headline reads: “Gifty Anti now reportedly lives alone as she allegedly sacks her husband Nana Ansah Kwao IV from home.”

She took a screenshot and re-posted and said thus. “This is a blatant lie. Oheneyere was with her husband to join their beautiful daughter at school today. Disregard the screenshot below,” she wrote.

Gifty came across the post and decided to break her silence on the raging issue by revealing that the report was malicious and false. She proceeded to share proof that she was still good with her husband.

Beyond that, she expressed surprise at how this particular fan managed to spot them among the many parents who had gathered in the school, Oheneyere wrote:

“Herrr now I fear you. Herrr how did you see us? Please add that I joined the tag of peace competition and we won (Though he and his princess did not give me fans) But I fear you ei. Boi.”

Her comments appear to bring a confirmation of this fan’s defence that Gifty Anti’s marriage to Nana Ansah Kwao isn’t struggling, as the earlier reports claim.

Who is Gifty Anti husband

Anti’s husband is known as Nana Ansah Kwao IV and comes from a royal family known as the Sintim Misa. Kwao was born into a royal family.

His grandfather, Sintim Misa, served as the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana for over a decade. His line of inheritance as the chief/king of Adumasa is matrilineal since his mother’s elder brother was supposed to occupy the position.

The Adumasa throne had been vacant for a decade prior to Kwao’s accession. His mother’s oldest brother, who was at the time too elderly to sit on the throne, was intended to have inhabited it. Everyone agreed that Kwao should become the Adumasa leader or king. On January 24, 2011, he was formally installed as the Chief of Adumasa during a ceremony.
