Great Ampong Claims Christians Are Not Supposed to Eat ‘Kusie & Akrantie’
Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong, better known by his stage name Great Ampong, claims that eating grasscutters and other unclean creatures is abhorrent for Christians and that anyone who disobeys this straightforward command from God will unavoidably perish in hell.
Huge African rodents called “grasscutters,” or “akrantie” in Ghana, are regarded as an important rural protein source and the favored meat in most Ghanaian restaurants.
However, the seasoned gospel artist thinks that Christians should avoid eating such bush flesh as instructed by the Old Testament.
“When you read Leviticus chapter 7 verse 8 you will be told about animals which are clean and unclean like pork, grasscutter, rats, mouse and mentioned a lot of other animals that are unclean.
I will advise any Christian who likes eating pork to desist from it because it’s not good and besides it’s a simple location for demonic possession.
When you eat pork you are giving yourself up for attacks and it’s not an animal you should focus on but at night you’ll see a lot of people buying pork with fried yam, he said on Cape Coast-based Property Radio.
Similarly, his statement came days after Sonnie Badu made headlines by asking Christians to exercise caution while consuming certain types of animals since some might render them vulnerable to all demons.
He claimed that some animals, especially pigs, were designated as unclean by the Bible, and as a result, Christians were required to avoid them. According to him, pork meat makes Christians susceptible to spiritual attacks because that animal is not clean.
His post as sighted on his official IG page read;
“The devil must first gauge your spiritual appetite in order to reach you. Food is the main entry point for viruses into human bodies. Additionally, according to the Bible, some animals are filthy. What do you consider an unclean animal? In other words, when that filthy animal is discovered spiritually within you, the witch has easy access to enter.
“Anything that contains pork is impure!” Even when you order pork in a Chinese restaurant, the staff will keep asking you to confirm because they are aware of the type of animal you are asking for, he said.
He mentioned how devils typically prey on individuals who eat impure food,
“The moment the devils learn that you have consumed something impure, your spirit is immediately tamed.” They will arrive once you have gone to bed because you granted them access.
