Hiplife Star Nhyiraba Kojo Sentenced To 30 Days In Prison

A Sekondi Commercial High Court sentenced Ghanaian artist and businessman Nhyiraba Kojo to 30 days in jail for contempt, according to a citinewsroom.com report.

Per the content of this breaking news, Justice Sedina Agbemava imposed the term after Nhyiraba Kojo disobeyed a court order requiring him to construct soundproofing and stop noise pollution coming from his nightclub.

The esteemed website from where we culled this report added that three Fijai residents, Edmund Sampana Dienorng, Nicholas Imbeah, and Samuel Kofi Dzukey, filed the lawsuit when they became concerned about the noise coming from the musician’s nightclub, NK City Nightclub.

The petitioners’ attorney, Pamela Arvoh-Mensah of Owusu Ankomah Arvoh Mensah, Dzigba and Associates, is further quoted as having affirmed the court’s ruling and outlined Nhyiraba Kojo’s option to absolve himself of the contempt and avoid serving the whole 30-day punishment.

Nhyiraba Kojo’s real name is Rashid Joseph. He is a Ghanaian musician and businessman born on March 6. He is well known for his 2011 hit song titled “Turn Around” alongside Dr Cryme.

Nhyraba Kojo owns a nightclub in Tema and a 9-bedroom house with other properties. He is one of the most influential Ghanaian celebrities with an estimated net worth of $2 million.
