I Did My Best- DJ Kaywise Shares Disturbing As He Hints At Committing Suicide Tonight

Nigerian celeb, DJ Kaywise has shared a disturbing post on Twitter that has alarmed fans and industry players, prompting popular music executive and talent manager, Dami Adenuga to ask those close to him to check on him before something unavoidable happens.
Kaywise said he would end his life by 9 p.m. tonight, and heaven knows he did his best to stay afloat despite whatever problem was drowning him at the moment. His post comes barely 24 hirs after the sad demise of Nigerian Afrobeats star Mohbad shook the foundation of the Nigerian music industry and beyond.

Kaywise’s real name is Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki DJ Kaywise is a Nigerian disc jockey and record producer. Kaywise broke into the mixtape market in Alaba in the year 2010. He has since gained prominence as a DJ in Nigeria and has released chart-topping songs with many Nigerian music stars.
DJ Kaywise began his career as a record producer before transitioning to become a Disc Jockey. He embarked on his journey as a DJ in 2010 and gained recognition after his “Emergency” mixtape made waves in the Alaba market in Lagos. To date, he has produced over 10,000 CD Mixtapes, over 50 online released mixtapes, and has collaborated with numerous Nigerian and African artists to release multiple music and visuals. In 2012, Kaywise released his debut single titled “Hangover” featuring Dammy Krane and Yung 6ix.
He continued to collaborate with notable Nigerian musicians such as Iyanya, Mayorkun, Naira Marley, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Vector, and Ice Prince. In 2019, he established the Kaywise Academy, a DJ academy aimed at nurturing young talents. In 2020, Kaywise released a mixtape titled “Revolution Mix Vol1” in solidarity with the EndSars movement in Nigeria.
His single “What Type of Dance” featuring Mayorkun, Naira Marley, and Zlatan Ibile peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Top Triller Global chart in August 2020. His latest release, “High Way” featuring Phyno, dropped in December 2020 and peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Top Triller Global Chart after spending two weeks on the chart.
