Ghanaian hip-hop artiste, Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known as Medikal, says inasmuch as he’s equally feeling the impact of the economic crisis, he would not condemn President Akufo-Addo who he believes might be doing his best to fix the situation.
In an interview with Abeiku Santana, Medikal said he will not be quick to blame the president for everything or condemn him because “he is somebody’s father”, and “perhaps he’s trying his best to resolve the issue but things are not that easy on his side.”
He says the president may be frustrated with the current state of affairs, and that it would be unfair to say the President does not care about the heat people are going through.
“I no go condemn am, you understand because he is somebody’s father, you get me. I no go condemn am saying why he’s not doing this or that. For all you may know, he too is trying his best but things make some way so they will tell you that it is an economic crisis. That is beyond you and i, we can’t do nothing about it”.
