If I Ever Give Birth Again, I’ll Name The Child Judas- Nana Agradaa Explains to Her Congregants

Former celebrity fetish priestess cum evangelist Nana Agradaa, now known as Patricia Oduro Asiedua (Mama Pat) has recently told her congregants why she will like to name her child Judas if she decides to have another child.

The Founder of the Heaven Way Church suggested that the Biblical Judas Iscariot has been labelled the antagonist of Jesus Christ and the dogma woven about his narrative shows he is the villain whose final resting place is hell for making the Romans kill Jesus.

However, Nana Agradaa says the Bible and Christians often fail to see the significance Judas played in getting redemption for Christians through the death of Jesus Christ.

Sprinkling a dust of humour to her message and giving it an intriguing facet, Agradaa said should she meets Judas today, she’ll gift him a car or a house because he gave the world Jesus.

It’s for this reason that she proclaimed that the only name she will ascribe to her child is Judas.

Judas was one of the 12 disciples, Jesus’ closest companions. Although a specific scene of Jesus calling Judas is not included in the Gospels, as it is for others such as Philip, Nathaniel, and Peter, he is included in the list of the 12 from early on (e.g. Mark 3:19).

Though Judas isn’t mentioned nearly as much during Jesus’ ministry as others like Peter, James, and John, the Bible does record that he was the treasurer for the disciples (John 12:6; John 13:29).

However, the Bible also reveals that Judas used this position for his own personal gain. John 12:6 states, “he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.”
