Jenifa’s Diary Star Adejumoke Aderounmu Is Dead

A recent report, which has been verified by several Nigerian blogs, has revealed the unfortunate news of the passing of actress Adejumoke Oreoluwa Aderounmu.

She was well-known for her portrayal of ‘Esther’ in the widely watched TV series Jenifa’s Diary. Adeola Aderounmu, the actress’s brother, shared the heartbreaking news of her demise on his Instagram story last Sunday.

He also posted a flyer detailing the burial arrangements and captioned the post, “You are in a better place now my sister 💔.”

Adejumoke rose to fame in 2016 for her portrayal of Esther (small but mighty) in the popular comedy TV series Jenifa’s Diary.

With over 10 movies in both English and Yoruba languages under her belt, Adejumoke Aderounmu is a seasoned actress.

She began her career as an on-air personality at Goldmyne Entertainment Presenter for Box Office TV show with Daniel Ademinokan in 2010/2011.

Transitioning to Concert Radio, an online Radio station in Nigeria, she worked there from 2012 to 2015 before venturing into producing her own TV show, The Lounge with Jumoke, in 2012, which featured celebrity interviews and fashion insights.
