Kuami Eugene And Fotocopy Finally Smoke Peace Pipe

Kuame Eugene has finally made amends by hugging Fotocopy when they met face to face in the studios of Okay FM, thereby stifling any potential animosity between them.

Fotocopy, unarguably the youngest rapper in Africa, cause a huge stir days ago expressed disdain for A-list Afrobeat star Kuame Eugene and clearly justified his position while speaking to Bryt TV in a new interview.

According to Fotocopy, Kuami Eugene once told him that his numbers were too small for him to feature on his track when he and his team reached out to him for a collab.

He said the statement bruised his ego and sent him into a state of despair. He shared his experience saying;

Kuami Eugene, I don’t want to talk about it. In the whole industry, he is an artiste I hate. I hate him because of what he told me, it took me more than a week to eat. It took me more than a week for me to eat because he told me that my numbers were really small and he couldn’t feature me.

The artist admitted that he is a child musician and that there aren’t many young people in the business who can do what he does when asked if he felt unworthy.

He said it was Dancehall great Shatta Wale who came to his rescue and jumped on a song with him after which he promoted it wholeheartedly. He concluded by saying;

It was because of him that Shatta Wale called me. I really liked him, his music, his career, his lifestyle and everything. I was there when he told me he couldn’t feature me. It made me feel bad but I didn’t feel bad because I knew I am the only one that can do something no kid in the music industry can do. I cried.

Kuame Eugene however refuted his claims and condemned his statement in a separate interview. Here’s his version of what he claimed truly transpired.

I think hate is too much of an intense word for a small boy to understand. To say that I hate someone. He’s too young to understand hate but that’s parenting. He’s not my issue because I think hate is too profound for a little boy like this to say.

You can tell clearly that in the interview he was having, he was told backstage….and whoever hosted the show, did a very bad job because he was also told backstage that ask him this question and answer it this way, you can clearly, go and listen to this interview.

In this new update, Kuame Eugene, who is currently on a press run for his single with Hollywood Star, was seen hugging the 9-year-old when he was interviewed on Okay FM with Drive host, Abeiku Santana.

Subsequent footage of Kuami Eugene, Abeiku Santana, Fotocopy and his dad/manager taking photos was also shared online.
