Medikal Shocks Fans As He Features Former Girlfriend Sister Derby On A New Song Dubbed ‘Cold & Trophies’

After surprisingly revealing that he had collaborated with his ex-girlfriend Sister Derby on the new song Cold & Trophies, Medikal has succeeded in garnering rave reviews online amidst a cacophony of varied discourse.

The former Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Rapper of the Year recipient hasn’t revealed much about the collaborative project with Sistr Derby, but fans are doing everything they can to muddy the waters around this fresh development.

This is dependent on a recent development that Medikal and his wife Fella Makafui are experiencing problems. Mrs Frimpomg (Fella Makafui), according to fans, has allegedly been seen attending public events without his engagement band.

The public has not been informed of the release date, which heightens the suspense and obscures the possible new hit.

In a related development as previously published by Tru News Report, Medikal spoke fondly about his former girlfriend Sister Derby although he was quick to add that they have shunned each other completely since the relationship headed south when he appeared on Atuu programme on UTV hosted by Abeiku Santana.

The rapper claimed that the two, who had a mutually beneficial relationship, supported one another musically. He also claimed during the interview that although there is no animosity between them, he and Derby have not crossed paths since they went their separate ways.

The award-winning rapper also emphasised their relationship was under scrutiny because they were both celebs hence giving room for a lot of inconveniences to set in.

Because we were both in the limelight, Medikal was a rapper; she was also an actress and a singer, so people were paying attention to the things we were doing. I think we helped each other. She used to do songs that I helped her write. She also gave me ideas when I was writing my songs. Of course, she helped me.

He further added: “Our path has never crossed since we broke up. No, I guess she doesn’t go where I hang out. I don’t have anything against her and I believe she feels the same.”
