Nacee Biography

Nacee whose actual name is Nana Osei, is a Ghanaian award winning Gospel Musician, Singer, Songwriter, and Producer. He was the lead vocalist for the gospel music group No Tribe.

Nacee lived in Takoradi with her mother from an early age. His father was a chief in the Kumasi suburb of Barekese. Everything was proceeding swimmingly until his father passed away. At the age of 12, he encountered a variety of difficulties.

After living with his family for years, he was expelled at the age of 15 after being falsely accused of degrading the reputation of the family church.

When Nacee became homeless and had to fend for himself, his life became extremely challenging. Despite all of this, he never ceased dedicating himself to God’s work. Over a decade, he slept in various churches because he had nowhere else to go.

Music Career

His career began when he joined a fellowship at the I.C.C. church, where he met a deacon who accepted his invitation to remain with him, but forced him to sleep on his corridor for nearly two years.

It is evident that Nacee rose to prominence as a result of a ministry he performed in the church, although he rarely discusses this.

When Nacee acquired notoriety, he and his friend Lord Bondize formed the group “No Tribe,” but they group disbanded.

Among his popular compositions are “Mpaebo, Efatawo,” “Boys Boys, Paddy Paddy, Onaapo Attention, Fire Burn You, and Minewaa.

He has collaborated with such artists as Guru, Obaapa Christy, etc.
