Olivier Award winners include Paul Mescal and Jodie Comer for their first stage roles and the stage adaptation of the Japanese animation classic My Neighbour Totoro, which took home a total of six awards.
Best actor in a play went to Mescal for his performance as the brutish Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire at the Almeida Theatre. Mescal was nominated for an Academy Award for his acting in Aftersun this year.
