Two Policewomen Caught On Camera Taking Bribe Of ₵10.00 From Driver Interdicted

PW/Inspr Martha Ackah and No. 6233 PW/Sergeant Felicia Ocran of the Asokwa Divisional Command of the Motor Transport and Traffic Department, Kumasi, have been interdicted by the police administration for their unprofessionalism in their line of duty.

According to the report shared by esteemed websites, the two female police officers were seen taking a bribe in a video that went viral on social media.

The interdiction is intended to give the police time to thoroughly investigate the incident in accordance with its internal disciplinary processes before bringing charges.

In a statement, the police said: “We would like to urge the affected victims to come forward and support [the] police investigation to enable us take the officers through the due process of the law, as we seek to ensure that our officers uphold the highest form of professional standards”.
