According to a sad report, Tru News Report sighted on MyNewsGH, the Deputy Volta North Regional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Antiri Nicolas Aletso has been found dead in a hotel in Hohoe on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
The family of the late Police Chief mentioned that they had attempted to contact him multiple times but received no response, prompting them to report their concerns to the Regional Police Command.
Following the report, a team of police officers led by ASP Simon Yevu, the staff officer, went to Obama Hotel room number 4 where the deceased was staying and found him lying sideways as per police findings.
It was noted that the door to the room was left unlocked. He was swiftly taken to the Hohoe Municipal Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The body has been transferred to the Police Hospital Mortuary in Accra for further examination to determine the cause of death.
