Rema Hangs Around With Barcelona Players During Training Session, Gets Customised Jersey
Nigerian singer Rema is probably a huge Barcelona fan evident in the broad smile he displayed when he visited the team during their training session recently in Spain.
The young singer whose monster hit ‘Calm Down’ is still breaking frontiers, took to his Twitter page on Thursday and revealed that he showed up when the Barca players were training.
He was given a customised Barce jersey with his name written on the back, but it did not have a number. He captioned “Pulled up to see my brothers in training 👊🏾⚽️ @FCBarcelona_es”

Rema recently admitted that the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ eight-month strike led to his decision to forego admittance to the University of Lagos (ASUU).
The Nigerian singer whose real name is Divine Ikubor spoke in a radio interview with Kiss FM where he revealed how his mom had influenced his decision. Recall that Rema tweeted in January 2022 that he had been accepted into UNILAG.
The Marvin Records signed star claimed that his mother encouraged him to pursue a bachelor’s degree because it was crucial.
“What if I told y’all I got an admission into Unilag? Lol Mom said I still need to get a degree sigh, oh well see you guys in class!” he tweeted.
Speaking on why he never resumed classes at the higher institution, Rema said he wanted to do part-time schooling and music but the strike ruined his plans.
He added that he finally chose to focus on music and his mother is comfortable with his decision despite her earlier position.
