Rupert Murdoch Set To Marry For The Fifth Time To Ann Lesley Smith At Age 92

One of the world’s most powerful media moguls, Rupert Murdoch, set to marry to his his partner, the former police chaplain Ann Lesley Smith, 66, whom he met in September of 2022.

Billionaire media tycoon Rupert Murdoch, whose conservative media empire covers the globe, recently announced in an interview with his own tabloid newspaper, the New York Post, that he is engaged for the fifth time.

Ms. Smith, 66, whose late husband was country musician Chester Smith, worked as a chaplain for the San Francisco Police Department.

After four previous marriages, the 92-year-old stated that this “better be” his last. His most recent divorce, from Jerry Hall after six years of marriage, was finalized in August last year.

During his three marriages, Murdoch has had six children. He had a daughter named Prudence with his first wife, Patricia Booker, and a daughter named Elisabeth and two boys named Lachlan and James with his second wife, Anna Mann. After marrying his third wife, Wendi Deng, he has added two more girls to the family: Grace and Chloe. After a year of marriage, Murdoch and his fourth wife, former supermodel Jerry Hall, divorced.
