Ghanaian politician and a member of the National Democratic Congress NDC Sam Nartey George, has said that none of the NPP’s potential candidates for president are qualified to lead the country.
Sam George said that all potential NPP candidates had flaws that should prevent any of them from becoming political leaders or presidents.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s economic incompetence as vice president, according to Sam Nartey George, disqualifies him from serving as president.
“Dr. Bawumia, the head of the economic management team that has led us into a debt exchange program that has collapsed the economy. Has, official inflation at 54% and unofficial inflation at 120% and has overseen the depreciation of the Ghana cedis by over 100%, him,” he said.
It was his opinion that Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, the former minister of trade and industry, is likewise not qualified to be president.

He continued by saying that Kennedy Agyapong, an MP for Assin Central and a candidate for president for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), should be appointed as the country’s town crier rather than the president.
