Sarkodie Did A Verse For Me In Just 2 Hours When I Was 3 Months In The Industry – Wendy Shay

Wendy Shay has honoured Sakodie with some kind words after the iconic rapper came under flak from some of his colleagues for being disrespectful when it comes to jumping on a collab with other musicians.

Recall that Sarkodie has been in the headlines this week after Samini declared that he will not record any songs with him again for failing to include his verse on a song he provided to him some time ago before the birth of his recent Extended Playlist (EP).

When the issue assumed centre stage online after Yaa Pono muddied the water by dissing Sarkodie for his arrogance, rapper and business mogul D-Black jumped to the defence of Sarkodie.

He thanked Sarkodie for helping him out with a verse while he was in Kumasi for a show. The Black Avenue Muzik boss revealed in a tweet saying, ”It just hit me that @Sarkodie pulled up to my crib one time and did 2 verses for me , Omega and Give it to me ft YCee & himself on my album and guess what… I wasn’t even home . I was in Kumasi performing at an event . Came back next day & records were there done! Bless u g.”

Reinforcing this, songstress Wendy Shay has also revealed that King Sark was kind to her when she was barely new in the game by blessing her with a verse. She posted;

I released my first ever song on 1st June 2018… just 3 months in the industry I sent psalm 35 to @sarkodie 2 hours later he sent his verse,I still have 2 songs with a top GH Artist since 2020 and the person never do am. I wanna say thank u @sarkodie you are too kind.
