Shatta Wale Defends Meek Mill Over Jubilee House Music Video Brouhaha
Shatta Wale has defended American rapper Meek Mill over the fury directed at him after he shared a trailer of a music video he shot at the Jubilee House- Ghana’s seat of government.
The video depicted the President’s office, key hallways, the main conference room (at one time sitting behind the president’s podium), and the sitting area.
The ‘All Eyes On Me’ rhymer came to Ghana in December for a musical concert- Afro Nation Concert. Beyond that, he has openly expressed his love for the country which probably saw him extending his stay and making friends with industry players and Ghanaian artists.
However, the video he shared went viral within the Ghanaian landscape of the internet and it did not take long before Ghanaians slammed him and the presidency for the mess they both created. Weighing in on the foregoing, Shatta Wale said Meek did nothing wrong and doesn’t deserve the avalanche of criticism aimed at him.
In his tweets, the SM boss said: You wan go america go take pictures for White House , You say “year of return “ and your own black brother come shoot video as he return home you bore .. You are a villager trust me !!! JJC —Jon’s.
