She Is Fooling Because She Is Not Married—Diana Asamoah’s ‘Father’ Reveals

Prophet Kofi Amponsah, the Ghanaian pastor who serves as a mentor to Diana Asamoah, has expressed his belief that the gospel artiste’s behaviour has been influenced by her single status at her age.

The founder and leader of House of Ezra Worldwide Ministries in Kumasi has observed that Diana Asamoah’s public conduct, such as her vocal support for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) despite the government’s shortcomings, suggests that her unmarried life is causing her distress.

“This year I’m going to give out Diana Asamoah’s hand in marriage. I will give her out for marriage so that she will become a little bit civilized because I can see that is one of the reasons why she has been fooling” he stated while addressing his congregation.

“Diana I will give you out in marriage just this February,” he added.

Why Diana Asamoah is not married?

The artist recently shared with reporters her decision to remain single and not consider marriage at this point in her life.

She explained that she has witnessed how other people’s marriages have turned out, and it has made her hesitant to pursue marriage. She gave an example of some Christians who pray to marry men of God, but their behaviour does not align with their role as pastors, showing a lack of reverence for God.

The gospel musician emphasized that she has seen the negative impact that marriage can have on some women’s lives, and therefore, she believes it is important to be cautious.

During an interview with JoyPrime TV, Diana Asamoah expressed that she has not specifically asked God for a marriage partner; otherwise, she believes she would already be married. This conversation took place between show host Roselyn Felli and Diana Asamoah.

In a separate interview on Okay FM, Diana Asamoah elaborated on the underlying reasons behind her decision to postpone marriage at this particular stage in her life.

She shared, “So many of them [men who propose to her] come into my life, but I do not allow them because I want to focus on the work of God. I have been in full-time ministry for a long time.”

Diana Asamoah made it clear that her ministry job is her priority in life. Although she occasionally dabbles with other pursuits, such as politics and charities, her ministry always comes first.

Diana Asamoah raised eyebrows recently when she reaffirmed her unwavering support for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) while criticizing Ghanaians who assert that there is widespread hardship under the leadership of Nana Akufo Addo during an interview on Kingdom FM.

Asamoah, whose popularity has diminished due to statements of this nature, attributed the high unemployment rate in the country to the attitudes of the youth towards employment opportunities.

She said;

“Nearly 90% of the youth I hear complaining about not finding a job have jobs they could do but can’t because of their character. Again, I’ll say it: most Ghanaians lack employment due to their character. It’s a fact, she stated. That there is hardship in Ghana is untrue,” she said. Some people shouldn’t have any trouble with it. Since you work here, you could have been fired by now if it weren’t for your integrity and hard work.”
