Sol Amarfio’s Public Funeral Will Be Held At The Forecourt Of The State House

The head of state of Ghana His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo invites everyone to the funeral of the legendary Sol Amarfio, Ace Drummer of the legendary OSIBISA Band, on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. in the forecourt of State House in Osu-Accra.

Sol Amarfio, a founding member and world-class drummer for the band Osibisa, died at the age of 84, as reported by Tru News Report on December 15, 2022. The interim President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) announced his passing on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
