Taylor Swift And Joe Alwyn Call It Quits After 6 Years Together

According to a report by PEOPLE, Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have ended their six-year relationship.

The split news comes as Swift is traveling the country for her sold-out Eras tour, at which the actor hasn’t been spotted.

The couple, who had been courting since May 2017, kept their relationship relatively private, making few public appearances and not posting about each other on social media. Swift. 33, and Alwyn, 23, were linked for the first time in May 2017, shortly after the end of Swift’s high-profile relationships with Tom Hiddleston and Calvin Harris.

The relationship between the couple was characterised by mutual support and respect for each other’s careers, with Alwyn co-writing two compositions with Swift. During the pandemic, the two began collaborating on music, which resulted in a Grammy Award triumph.

The 2020 albums “Folklore” and “Evermore” both featured collaborations with Alwyn, who penned a number of compositions under the alias William Bowery. The 2021 Grammy for album of the year went to “Folklore,” while “Evermore” was nominated for the same award at the 2022 ceremony.

During her acceptance speech, Swift gave a shout-out to the actor.

“Joe is the first person that I play every single song that I write, and I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine,” she said.

SPLASH NEWS

Many of the love songs on Swift’s 2017 album reputation, including “Gorgeous,” “Call It What You Want,” and “Delicate,” appeared to have been influenced by Alwyn and the couple’s low-key relationship.

Swift posted a photo of her glistening Ralph & Russo dress on the night of the Oscars after celebrating with friends in February of last year.

Swift has not yet commented on the split, but it is evident that the end of her relationship with Alwyn will be a hot topic among her admirers and the media. Swift has been known to draw inspiration for her music from her personal life, so it remains to be seen whether the breakup will inspire new tunes from the Grammy-winning artiste.
