Organisers Sadly Say Goodbye To Afrochella Festival

The Ghanaian music and cultural festival known as Afrochella will not be held again, according to one of the Co-founders, Ken Agyepong Jnr.
At the very end of the two-day event, in the wee hours of Friday morning, the shocking revelation was made over a tweet that reads, “this is the last #afrochella… it’s be real. Thank you… love… #afrofuture,” citing no reason.

As part of the campaign known as “Beyond Return,” the authorities in Ghana planned this to be one of the events that they hoped will continue to bring visitors, particularly those from the diaspora, to the nation.
Background
Music festival, Coachella which is situated in California, filed a lawsuit against the organisers for trademark infringement in October.
With that being said, the musical and cultural festival which is heavily promoted to African Americans and the Ghanaian origins in the UK, might return under a new name, hinted to be AfroFuture.
