Criticizing Akufo Addo Won’t Solve The Problem, We Have To Tackle The Fundamentals First- Abu Sankara

Dr. Abu Sakara, the National Interest Movement’s founder, has stated that while harshly criticizing President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in response to the economic difficulties Ghanaians are experiencing may give people some joy, it would not end the issues immediately.
He believes the moment has come for a discussion about how to overcome the difficulties. The Convention People’s Party (CPP) presidential candidate for the 2012 elections while speaking on Key Points on TV3 on Saturday, October 22, mentioned;
Accept and admit that no one group of people in Ghana can solve the problems. We have to come together, build consensus, face reality and come up with long-term plan plan”
“We need a reformed development agenda that looks at the fundamentals. Lashing the [President] may give us some satisfaction but it won’t solve the fundamental problem.
“Right now, we have a crisis situation, the first is to contain it.”
