Mohammed Kudus showcased his exceptional skills by delivering a remarkable acrobatic goal during the recent West Ham match against Brentford.
The 23-year-old forward, fueled by a brilliant cross from Michail Antonio, volleyed the ball into the net, instantly becoming a strong contender for the goal of the season.
Despite an early lead secured by Brentford’s Neal Maupay just 11 minutes into the game, Kudus swiftly responded by leveling the score eight minutes later. Jarrod Bowen then seized the opportunity and, seven minutes after Kudus’ goal, propelled West Ham United into the lead for the first time during the match.
However, West Ham’s hopes were dashed as Brentford made a triumphant comeback after the halftime break. They managed to score two additional goals, snatching victory away from West Ham.
Konstantinos Mavropanos inadvertently contributed to Brentford’s success by scoring an own goal, and Nathan Collins sealed their triumph by heading home the winning goal in the 69th minute. With this recent goal, Kudus has now tallied two Premier League goals for the Hammers, the first of which was against Newcastle United.
Despite the loss, Mohammed Kudus showcased his exceptional skills with 53 ball touches, an impressive 89% passing accuracy, and three successful tackles. Looking ahead, Kudus and his team will welcome Olympiacos F.C. at the London Stadium for a thrilling Europa League clash on Thursday, November 9. Following that, they will host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Sunday, November 12.
