Why I Don’t Want To Marry Despite Dating My Boyfriend For 10 Years- Feli Nuna

In a society where female celebrities are often pressured to marry and have children, rapper and singer Feli Nuna revealed in an interview that marriage is not her main focus.

Interestingly, she mentioned that she has been in a relationship with her boyfriend for ten years now, yet the idea of marriage has not been a topic of discussion for them.

Nuna, who was formerly signed to Lynx Entertainment, emphasized that she is currently focused on advancing her career and will tie the knot when the timing is right, especially since her boyfriend has been a strong supporter of her professional endeavours.

“I have been dating my current man for about 10 years now. He was there for me from the beginning even before I became known.

“It has not been easy, we have the good moments and our tough times when we were going out and weren’t seeing each other due to our tight schedules. I think right now, we are in a good place.

“I’ve always wanted to be in a place mentally before I get married. I don’t give him pressure and he doesn’t give me pressure too.

“We are intertwined and our families know each other. I would like to settle down with him but right now because of work I want to be in the right place before doing so,” she said on Ladies Circle aired on TV3.

Nuna, a talented Ghanaian artist, is known for her skills as a rapper, singer, songwriter, director, and producer. In 2012, she signed her first record deal with Lynx Entertainment under the name ‘Felly’ and released her debut single ‘Ghana Girl Swag’.

However, she took a break from the music scene due to personal reasons. In 2015, she made a comeback under Beehyve Entertainment and rebranded herself as Feli Nuna. She continued her musical journey with her former label, releasing the popular track ‘I like Am’.

Since then, Feli Nuna has been actively performing on both local and international stages. Her impressive resume includes appearances at The Ghana Music Awards Nominees Concert (2016), 4Syte Music Video Awards (2016), Coke Studio Africa (2016), Yaws Fashion Show in Gambia (2017), and Asia-Africa Youth Festival in China (2017).
