Wizkid Marks February 15 As “Happy Side Chick Day”
Yesterday, on February 14th, 2023, lovers all over the world exchanged greetings, gifts, and promises of eternal love.
Award-Winning Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, is a Nigerian singer who has joined the ranks of those who believe that February 15th is Happy Side Chick Day.
Tradition has it that the day after Valentine’s Day, on the 15th of February, people celebrate what is sometimes called Side Chick Day.
And according to Urban Dictionary, February 15th is the day that men take their “side piece,” or the other girl that they are dating on the side, out as if it were Valentine’s day. This finding lends credence to what was stated by Wizkid.
Many famous people have posted beautiful photos to Instagram in honour of Valentine’s Day, and many others who are single have used the app to express their loneliness on this special day.
It’s the day dudes treat their mistresses to a date in the vein of Valentine’s Day. Wizkid, a father of four children from three different mothers, declared on his verified Instagram account that today, February 15th, is also Side Chick Day.
