14 Year Old Rapper Lil Tay Has Died

Social media influencer and rapper Lil Tay, whose real name is Claire Hope, has died, her management confirmed in a statement to mainstream media.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing,” Hope’s family announced on Lil Tay’s Instagram page, which has 3.3 million followers. “We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain.

This outcome was entirely unexpected and has left us all in shock. Her brother’s passing adds an even more unimaginable depth to our grief. During this time of immense sorrow, we kindly ask for privacy as we grieve this overwhelming loss, as the circumstances surrounding Claire and her brother’s passing are still under investigation. Claire will forever remain in our hearts, her absence leaving an irreplaceable void that will be felt by all who knew and loved her.”

Her cause of death is unclear, but it has been reported that the car she was riding in, which was being driven by her brother, collided head-on with another car. Jesse Ryan, a social media user who asserted to have seen the collision, wrote: “As someone who was there, I can confirm that both were together when passing.” because of an automobile accident. Brother was behind the wheel.

‘Local officials are speculating “texting and driving” is the cause. The other vehicle occupants were okay with minor injuries.’

Lil Tay’s lawyer father, Christopher Hope, declined to comment when contacted by DailyMail.com. In a tribute to rapper XXXTentacion after his passing in 2018, Lil Tay claimed she ‘did not have’ a father figure, suggesting that he and the social media star had a tense relationship.

After accusing Hope and his wife Hanee of physical and mental abuse, her brother Jason created a GoFundMe page to try and raise $19,000 for Lil Tay. Lil Tay’s absence was attempted to be explained online by Jason, who is not Hope’s son.

‘My sister Tay has been silent on social media for the past three years because her absentee father (Chris Hope) served my mother a court order demanding control over Tay’s money, career, and custody, and as a result it was court ordered that my sister had to return to Vancouver, Canada.

‘He also requested through a court order to prevent her from speaking out about the truth.’

Jason then claimed that Hope had ‘stolen millions of dollars’ from the rising star for his own benefit.

Lil Tay, who is originally from Canada but now resides in Los Angeles, became well-known online in 2017 when she started recording videos at the age of nine.

She was shown in her contentious videos cursing, demeaning bystanders, flashing wads of cash, and even inciting fights while claiming to be the “youngest flexer of the century” and “above the haters.” In order to generate interest in her content, she had previously posted films that contained language like “n,” “p,” and “c***.”

She later appeared on Good Morning America with her mother to defend her reputation. Nevertheless, Lil Tay swiftly amassed more than 3.3 million followers on Instagram alone and was regarded as one of the top up-and-coming stars on the internet despite the criticism.
