In the clash against Mozambique at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny, Cape Verde took control with a thunderous strike from Bebe in the 32nd minute, leading the game at halftime.
The dominance continued in the second half, with goals from Ryan Mendes and Kevin Pina securing a comprehensive 3-0 win.
With this result, Cape Verde secures the top spot in Group B and are already booked for the round of 16 stage of the tournament.
Meanwhile, the situation creates a challenging scenario for Ghana’s chances of advancing to the Round of 16.
