28 Batches Of Fanyogo Recalled Due To Complaints About Texture

FanMilk has recalled 28 batches of FanYogo due to customer complaints about the product’s texture. Although FanMilk claims that their products are safe to consume, they “fully acknowledge that the recalled batches do not meet the great product experience we are known for.”

Customers had been complaining for weeks about the ice cream’s noticeably different texture, both in terms of appearance and flavour. Some people called for a ban on that particular ice cream until the company could explain what happened.

The company recalled about 28 batches as a result of customer complaints about their texture, according to a press release they issued on July 3, 2023.

The statement went on to say that, despite the occurrence, thorough tests had been run on the impacted batches to identify the source of the problem.

“Our dedicated team of experts in our laboratory has conducted comprehensive tests on the batches to investigate the cause of the problem and prevent it from happening again,” the statement read.

It went on to say that the company has been in touch with the Food and Drugs Authority and is cooperating closely with them to find a solution to the problem.

Annointed Steve Enterprise (Kumasi), Dapaduk Ventures (Tamale), Eve-Asa Company Limited (Kasoa), Bubbles Ladies Gh. Limited (Spintex), or Little Stars Delight (Kwabenya) were five major retailers mentioned as places where customers might go to have their affected product batches replaced.

“We are sorry for all the inconveniences this has caused and appreciate your patience in waiting to hear from us. Thank you for your continued support and loyalty. We are dedicated and committed to restoring the great FanYogo experience you love.”
