A Collab From Me & Burna Boy Will Be Awesome- Tems

Tems has been captured in a throwback video expressing her desire to team up with self-professed African Giant- Burna Boy for a monster hit song.

The Nigerian singer was seen in the video saying she has always loved Burna Boy and that he is similar to her as they are both ‘mad’ artistically.

Tems asserts that she could relate to him better than any other Nigerian musician, which is why she believes a collaboration with him would be fantastic.

She made the comment about the ‘Last Last’ crooner lifting her spirits while chatting before she received her big break in the music business.

Tems recently came across tons of criticism hurled at her over the unusual dress she wore to the 96th Oscars and took to Twitter to offer a subtle reply.

The 95th Academy Awards was a ceremony held by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) on March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. It honoured films released in 2022.

Tems was spotted at the event in a glamorous outfit but the design left some netizens unenthused corroborated by the negative feedback they shared on social media.

Among the uncomplimentary responses shared online include the following;

Suggesting_netflix_movies said: “Her designer definitely didn’t think of the view blocking… Innocent mistake…people take things so serious these days with all these ones calling her *rude up and down like what she did was intentional.”

Sucressecret said: “People can hail her and say “she no send una papa” but it’s wrong. They might not have thought about it thoroughly before making it for her but now that people are pointing out how her outfit affected those behind her, she should have at least shown a little remorse or just keep quiet instead that salty response.”

Tems reshared the photos on her Twitter platform and stated simply, ‘Ooops.’
