Akan Drama Star ‘Kwame Ahe’ Now A Watchman
CK Boateng, the popular veteran Ghanaian actor whose fame is hinged on the defunct Akan Drama TV series, has reportedly become a security guard.
Known widely as Kwame Ahe or Osofo Shaba, the actor who excited viewers in the 90s and early 2000s with his exceptional acting skills laced with witticisms is now the head of security guards in Accra, and according to him, that has been his source of livelihood for a very long time now since he walked away from the silver screen.
He told YouTuber Kofi Adoma Nwawani that when he was actively involved in acting, he was also working as an accountant at Burma Camp, and since he went on retirement, he has been receiving his pension pay from them.
According to him, life has not been as hard for him as might be interpreted because, as the head of the security firm in Accra, his salary and pension money cushion him a little bit.
Asked about why he looks so young despite his age, Kwame Ahe said he holds no grudges against anyone, which has defined his personality for years, and injected youthful exuberance into him.
