Akufo-Addo Is A Dictator – ‘Fearless’ Bridget Otoo Says
Bridget Otoo, a prominent journalist and news anchor at Metro TV, recently took to social media to label the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, as a dictator.
In her post, Bridget expressed her concern about the silence of various institutions, despite the challenges they are facing under the current administration, due to the fear of being victimized.
This statement from Bridget comes in response to the Tema General Hospital’s claim that no deaths occurred as a result of a recent power outage.
She said in a tweet on X that “Every institution is afraid of this spineless lying government because of their vindictiveness. They should be afraid of the peoples “deafening silence” We are not in a military era even though @NAkufoAddo has proven to be one dictator.
In a separate post, she said: “That a hospital is afraid to admit that a baby died as a results of Dumsor. An account a doctor shared with the mother of the child.. Your life doesn’t matter to this government!!!! #ReleaseDumsorTimetable“.
The Tema General Hospital has meanwhile refuted the allegations of fatalities during the power outage on Tuesday, March 26th, as stated in a press release on Wednesday, March 27.
The hospital categorically dismissed the claims as unfounded and urged the public to disregard them.
“It is worth noting that no lives were lost as a result of this power outage,” an excerpt of the statement said.
