American Actor Michael B. Jordan Declares Intentions To Visit Ghana

Black Panther villain Michael B Jordan has shared his desire to visit Ghana due to its legendary hospitality during a conversation on Jay Shetty Podcast

He expressed his deep affection for Ghana, longing to experience the freedom of walking without any concerns, unlike his experiences in New York.

Although he did not specify the exact timeframe for his visit, his heartfelt admiration for the country has garnered him a dedicated fan base from Ghana.

“They are so loving and welcoming in a really big way. For me, going there, there’s not a million phones being out… everybody is very respectful of our space,’ he said in a video shared on X and monitored by Tru News Report.

The actor indicated that these are values that he has heard is in abundance in Ghana for which reason he still habours the will to visit.

“Another place that I can’t wait to really go is Ghana. My dad has been spending a lot of time there. For whatever reason, every time that I am trying to go, something that I cannot change pops up.

In the conversation, he added that “that is another place that people tell me stories of a similar feeling of going and the love and affinity of being in another place.”

In 2018, actor Boris Kodjoe announced his plans to bring together a group of prominent American celebrities, including Jordan, for a visit to the country in December as part of The Year of Return initiative.

This initiative aimed to invite members of the African diaspora from the US, along with their families, to celebrate and explore Ghana, connecting with our cultural heritage and acknowledging our generational achievements.

The week-long festival showcased a range of immersive experiences, such as live musical performances, exciting road trips across the country, vibrant parties, elegant dinner dances, empowering roundtable discussions, and much more.

During their stay, the esteemed guests, including Boris Kodjoe, Bozoma St John, Ivonne Orji, Michael B. Jordan, Estelle, and many others, will have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in a variety of cultural sensory experiences, including culinary delights, captivating sounds, inspiring art, and cutting-edge fashion.
