‘Delusional’ Shatta Wale Has A Personality Problem
Entertainment pundit, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo said that Shatta Wale’s main flaw is his arrogant character and the way he treats his fellow musicians.
He said Shatta Wale’s personality and aggressiveness have been the source of his problems since 2013. “We all know Shatta Wale’s problem. His problem is his personality—the way he talks down on his other colleagues, how he’s belligerent, and all that stuff doesn’t really affect our ability to fill O2. Shatta Wale’s problem since 2013 has been his persona.”
Speaking on UTV Showbiz, Arnold stated that in order for Ghanaian musicians to successfully perform at the O2 arena, they would need to be signed to an international record label that will ensure that they connect with the right people and the appropriate institutions.
“How do you convince me that Amerado’s inability to fill O2 is Shatta Wale’s problem? Because, we all know that for Amerado to go and fill O2, he probably must be signed to an international record label, a label that will ensure that he will connect with the right people and the right unit to actually ensure that he will get O2 to perform there. And it also depends on Amerado himself to make sure his brand is on that level, his popularity is on that level, and the songs he sings are on the other level.
“The lebel can plug that song at places where, if today he announces that he’s going to O2, people will say, Oh, we know him; how is that Shatta Wale problem? So I find it difficult to actually connect that shatta wale is the biggest problem that is making us not be able to fulfil that mission.
He went on to say that Shatta Wale uses his controversial comments to actually generate hype. “We already know Shatta Wale’s problem, his stupid talks, and so on; it’s him, and that is his ability to acturally generate hype,” he added.
