If I Wasn’t Married, I Would Have Married Afua Asantewaa-Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale recently paid a visit to Akwaaba Village to express his support for Afua Asantewaa Aduonom in her ambitious endeavour to break the Guinness record for the longest singing marathon.

As expected, the cameras focused on him, and Joy Prime managed to secure a brief interview with him where he made a statement that would undoubtedly make headlines on various blogs.

During the interview, Wale praised Afua for her courageous attempt and assured her that God would guide her through. He also highlighted the unwavering support she has received from Ghanaians worldwide, emphasizing that it signifies she is on the right path.

Furthermore, the SM boss mentioned that mainstream artists can learn valuable lessons from Afua’s singathon endeavour. Lastly, he complimented Afua’s beauty, jokingly stating that if he were not married, he would consider marrying her.

As of the time of filing this report, Afua is almost close to the 60-hour mark. It is worth noting that Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia also visited Afua on Monday.

The Vice President’s unexpected presence electrified the atmosphere, resulting in cheers from the audience. After enjoying Afia’s performance and engaging with the crowd, Dr Bawumia graciously granted a quick interview to the media.

The vice president, who is also the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), said, “Afia has showcased incredible passion and unwavering determination. Witnessing her talent firsthand, I have no doubt she can break this record. Let’s all stand behind her, cheering her on until she sings her way into the record books!”
