Bhim Concert: Stonebwoy Announces Accra Sports Stadium As New Venue

Stonebwoy has announced that the Accra Sports Stadium will host its annual Bhim Concert on December 22, 2023.

He shared this news on his verified Twitter (now called X). The Bhim Concert is a musical rendezvous designed for fans of Stonebwoy who are generically called Bhim Natives. Mainstream artistes in Ghana, and on a few occasions, foreign acts, are recruited for the concert.

Recall that Busy Signal and his team travelled to Ghana last year in December 2022 to finish setting up for the sixth iteration of Stonebwoy’s yearly Bhim Concert.

The Jamaican superstar joined local heavyweights to provide nonstop, back-to-back hit songs to music lovers who thronged to the venue for the concert.

The eagerly anticipated event is slated to take place at Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center. Upon their arrival in Accra, Busy Signal and his fellow countrymen were welcomed by Stonebwoy, a portion of the media, and fans. Highlights of his welcome celebration included a roadshow through the energetic streets of Nima, Accra New Town, and the neighbourhood.

Additionally, recent Bhim Concerts have featured special guests Morgan Heritage and Jamaican reggae and dancehall icon Beenie Man, along with some of the nation’s most talented musical artists, including DBlack, MzVee, Samini, Sefa, Kofi Kinaata, and others. All of these performers gave memorable performances amidst the concert’s incredible stage design, production, and overwhelming fan response.
