British-American Actor Chance Perdomo Dies In Motorcycle Accident

Brisitsh-American actor, Chance Perdomo, known for his roles in the TV series Gen V and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, tragically passed away at the age of 27 following a fatal motorcycle accident.

The heartbreaking news was confirmed by Perdomo’s publicist in a statement to Variety on Saturday.

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo’s untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Authorities have advised that no other individuals were involved. His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those whom he loved dearest.

We ask you to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”

Variety is currently awaiting a response from Perdomo’s publicist regarding the whereabouts of his passing. When contacted by Variety on Saturday, representatives from the Los Angeles Police Department were unable to verify if Perdomo’s death took place in Los Angeles.

The LA coroner’s office has not yet provided a comment in response to the request. Perdomo was recognized for his portrayals of Ambrose Spellman in Netflix’s “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and Andre Anderson in the spinoff series “Gen V” from “The Boys.”

“We can’t quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person,” the “Gen V” producers said in a joint statement. “Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense.

We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.”

Perdomo was born on October 19, 1996, in Los Angeles, California. He relocated to Southampton, Hampshire, England with his mother during his childhood, attending Redbridge Community School and later Peter Symonds College in Winchester.

Initially planning to study Law, Perdomo shifted his focus to acting and moved to London. He became a member of the National Youth Theatre and received training at the Identity School of Acting.

Perdomo made appearances in various television shows and short films before landing a regular role in “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” alongside Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch, and Jaz Sinclair.

He portrayed Ambrose Spellman for four seasons from 2018 to 2020.

Additionally, Perdomo starred as Jerome Rogers in the 2018 TV movie “Killed by My Debt,” which led to a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
