Her contributions to entertainment in Kenya, specifically in music industry have garnered her a number of prestigious honours, such as Best Female at the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards, Pearl of Africa Music Awards, Kisima Awards, and Chaguo La Teeniez Awards. In 2006, she released her debut album.

The tune, described by Billboard’s Diane Coetzer as a “uplifting ballad,” was released by Rockstar 4000 Music Entertainment.

In 2013, she collaborated with Ugandan dancehall duo Radio & Weasel to release “Kiboko Changu,” the main single from her most recent album. She released the single “Kizungu Zungu” in 2015. She released the reggae and dancehall-influenced song “Heartbreaker” in July 2015. The music video was filmed in Nairobi’s Garden Estate and released on September 8, 2015.
